Another essential step in falling object prevention is the use of safety nets and barriers. Safety nets are designed to catch falling objects and prevent them from hitting workers or equipment below. Barriers, such as those attached to guardrailing, are also effective in preventing objects from falling if accidentally dropped or kicked. It's important to ensure that safety nets and barriers are properly installed and regularly inspected to ensure that they are in good condition and functioning properly. Any damaged or worn nets or barriers should be repaired or replaced immediately to prevent accidents.
